Moyes confirmed that Jonny Evans will miss Sunday's home game against Fulham with a calf injury he suffered against Stoke.
Phil Jones, who came off with concussion against the Potters, could be fit, however.
Marouane Fellaini's bad luck with injuries continues as he has suffered a groin injury and will be out for a week, Moyes added.

This weekend will be the first time that Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen has come back to Old Trafford since leaving the United coaching staff in the summer.
Moyes opted to bring in a number of his own staff when he replaced Sir Alex Ferguson as manager.
The former Everton boss revealed he was sad to see the Dutch coach leave United, however.
"Rene helped me when I first came here," Moyes said.
"I had several conversations with him. He helped me, told me about the club, how it runs and the players.
"In the end I would have liked him to stay at the time but he wanted to go and that was fine.
"I am looking forward to getting Rene back and seeing him."

Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen is hoping club-record signing Kostas Mitroglou may play some part in the Cottagers' Barclays Premier League clash at Manchester United. The Greece international has been ineligible for Fulham's last two fixtures but Meulensteen will give him every chance to prove his fitness and make his debut at Old Trafford. Fellow new recruit Johnny Heitinga is more likely to feature while Lewis Holtby will return to the side after being cup-tied for the FA Cup replay defeat to Sheffield United.
Departing Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic returns from suspension. Defender Jonny Evans (calf) is out, but fellow centre-back Phil Jones is available, even though he suffered concussion against Stoke last weekend. Midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out for one week due to a groin injury he suffered in training.

Vidic successor already a Red

Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans now have the chance to prove themselves worthy successors to Nemanja Vidic, who has confirmed he will leave Manchester United at the end of this season.

Reds manager David Moyes is unlikely to dip into the transfer market for a centre-back this summer, believing instead that Vidic’s long-term replacement lies within his existing squad.

“I think we have got [Nemanja’s replacement] in the club already,” Moyes told reporters on Friday. “Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans are already here.”

Vidic will continue to captain United until his departure and Moyes will use the remaining three months of the season to blood his young defenders alongside the Serbian and fellow experienced centre-back Rio Fedinand.

“People who know football will tell you centre-half is probably the toughest position,” Moyes said. “I even think it is harder to play centre-half than goalkeeper now.

“With the movement of the centre forwards and the quality of the centre forwards, playing a young centre-half is very difficult. To nurture one along and bring them into the team… we are trying to do that. We will give Smalling, Jones and Evans those opportunities to show what they are capable of.”

Evans won’t be available for Sunday’s clash against Fulham after picking up a calf strain last weekend, but Phil Jones, who was stretchered off in the same game with a head injury, has “a good chance”.
